Erkut OzdamarMD
I was born in 1972 in Izmir - Turkey. I completed primary, secondary and high
school education in Izmir.
I attended Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (Istanbul) in 1991 and graduated
in 1997. I started to my Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residiency in Uludağ
University Faculty of Medicine (Bursa) in 1998. Having completing 6 years in
residency in 2004 I entitled as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.
After completion of obligatory military service (1 year) I
began to practice as a Plastic Surgeon at private hospitals in Istanbul.
Between 2011 and 2015, I worked for Estehair – Estecenter Hair Tranplantation and
Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. During this period I have been participated in
approximately 3500 hair transplants and we have provided a qualified service with
high success rates.
In October 2015, I decided to continue under the trademark of ''Erkut Ozdamar MD''
in order to provide hair transplantion that is meticulously implemented, even more
qualified, more personalized and in the light of scientific facts, to my patients.
Why Hair Transplantion ?
Exactly 19 years ago, in 1998, when I first been in a 400 hundred grafts FUT hair
transplantation operation; surely I would not know that hair transplantation will direct
my professional carrier that much. This story, continuing with intervals later, have
been the only way in my carrier since 2011. From that time I'm only doing hair
transplantation, because it takes my whole time and leaves no time to any other
procedure.
Medical science technology is ever changing and has been developed fastly in the last
two decades. There are many innovations to be learned and to be experienced. I
believe that it is important to have a complete knowledge and experience in a single
field than having partial in every field of Plastic Surgery. Proficiency in every field is
virtually impossible.
As well as all fields of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; Hair Transplantation too should be
applied on the basis of scientific facts and innovations and with meticulous
implemantation and close follow-up of patients, preferably under supervision of a
plastic surgeon. All individuals requiring hair transplantation deserves that.
